Numato Lab’s 1 Channel USB Solid State Relay Module is great for controlling your devices through USB without any USB protocol knowledge. This module plugs into your design seamlessly. Individual relay can be controlled by simple commands.
This product has one on board Solid State Relay that can switch up to 3A load. The relays are controlled by USB capable Microchip PIC Microcontroller (PIC18F14K50) and come with built-in firmware that supports simple commands to control relays and read relay status. The board, when attached to a PC/Laptop shows up as a serial port and all you need to control the board is a serial terminal application like HyperTerminal or Putty. This board can easily be controlled by writing a simple serial port application in VC++, VB, VBA (Word, Excel, etc), Perl, Python, etc. The relays are powered from the USB bus so it is important to connect this board directly to a PC or to a powered hub.

An Automatic Room Cooling is an electronic system designed to maintain a comfortable room temperature automatically. It uses a DHT11 temperature sensor to monitor the room, a DC fan for cooling, an LCD to display real-time data, and a buzzer to provide alerts. The system activates the fan automatically when the room temperature exceeds a set threshold, making it an efficient solution for homes, laboratories, and small offices.

An Electronic Coin Toss circuit is an electronic version of the classic coin flip — often used to make quick decisions, settle disputes, or play games. It mimics the randomness of a real coin toss using digital logic or a microcontroller to generate a pseudo-random result and display it using LEDs or a text display (e.g., “Heads” or “Tails”).

A Bird Bell is a device designed to either attract, entertain, or repel birds, depending on its purpose and context. Traditionally, it is a small bell-shaped object made of metal, ceramic, or wood, and is usually hung in gardens, balconies, farms, or near bird feeders. Its name comes from its interaction with birds — it may ring when birds land on it, brush past it, or when the wind causes it to move.

A Visitor Counter automatically counts the number of people entering or leaving a room using an IR sensor. The count is displayed on a 16×2 LCD, and a buzzer can alert when a specific limit is reached. This project is widely used in shops, libraries, offices, and events to monitor occupancy. It demonstrates sensor interfacing, counting logic, and real-time display using Arduino.
